The Hucklebucks have been entertaining their fans with jumpin' blues since 1996. They have played from Oregon to San Diego, San Francisco to Las Vegas. Sacramento is their home turf. If you want dancing and party music, you want The Hucklebucks. They have released 4 CD's. Each one has cool original tunes and obscure, hip blues covers. Doug Crumpacker founded the band with Robert Sidwell in 1996. Robert is a very busy guitar player these days, but still plays with The Hucklebucks when he can. Doug fronts the band on guitar and vocals. He also writes most of the bands original tunes. Piano player Jim Monroe joined the "Bucks" in 2010. He is heavily influenced by Professor Longhair and Johnnie Johnson. Jim is in the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame. People love to watch Jim sing and rock out on piano. Tim Wilbur has been playing drums with the band since 2011. He is a blues veteran with great grooves and steady rhythms. Tim also is an acomplished vocalist.
Dale Lyberger rounds out the band on bass. He plays and sings from the heart. Dale played many years with the Sacramento party band The Skins.
