The Hucklebucks are the next generation in a long tradition of the Blues.
Their music was born in the south, left New Orleans for Chicago, swung through Kansas City, shuffled through Texas and emerged on the California party scene with a groovy, daceable beat.
Their music is the West Coast Blues.

“The Hucklebucks play in an unmistakably California style. This band swings hard all the way” - The Blues Review

The Hucklebucks have played the biggest venues, with superstars like the legendary John Lee Hooker and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers the Yardbirds, and they regularly sell out the funkiest, low-down juke joints like Sacramento’s Torch Club. While maintaining a schedule of over 200 club dates yearly, the Hucklebucks perform privately for parties, special events and weddings. They have played for senators, basketball stars and for their neighbors’ backyard barbeque.
